Education Day

The Great Northern Exhibition and Collingwood Agricultural Society focus on agriculture education as one of the key pillars of our work. An important part of this is Education Day, held the Friday of our fair each year.

We invite all Grade 3 and Grade 7 students in West Zone schools to participate in an agricultural learning experience on Friday of the Fair. If you have not received your invite but are interested in having your school attend please contact Garry Milne 705-444-2895

Some of the displays include sheep shearing, a dairy display, quilting, farm machinery and other displays pertaining to rural life. On Saturday and Sunday we continue education with sheep shearing, and other displays. These are educational days for all fairgoers.
